About CBEP

The Third Annual Cell Biology of Eukaryotic Pathogens Symposium is a joint effort between Clemson University's Eukaryotic Pathogens Innovation Center (EPIC) and University of Georgia's Center for Tropical and Emerging Global Diseases (CTEGD) to bring together researchers in the south east involved in the cell biology of various eukaryotic pathogens.  Both groups are involved in research to identify treament options for this diverse group of organisms responsible for diseases that threaten billions around the world including: malaria, amoebic dysentery, sleeping sickness, Chagas disease, fungal meningitis, and more.  CBEP is a meeting designed for graduate students, undergraduate students, and post-docs to share their research and to foster collaboration.

This year's Third Annual CBEP meeting will take place at Clemson University's Outdoor Lab on October 22nd and 23rd (Thursday and Friday) 2015.
